These Vegetable Paneer Tikkis are the perfect answer! Made with a delightful mix of grated vegetables and protein-rich paneer, these tikkis are lightly spiced and pan-fried to golden perfection.
Ingredients:
- 1 -2 cup grated vegetables (no potatoes).
- 1/4 cup of mashed paneer.
- 2-3 spoons of besan for binding.
- 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds.
- ½ tsp turmeric powder.
- ½ tsp red chili powder (optional).
- ½ tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix Vegetables: In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated vegetables and paneer.
- Add Spices: Add chickpea flour, cumin seeds, turmeric, red chili powder (if using), garam masala and salt. Mix everything well to form a dough-like consistency.
If the mixture feels too wet, add a little more chickpea . - Pan-fry: Heat a non-stick pan and brush it with a little olive oil. Cook the tikkis on medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side,
or until they are golden and crisp. - Serve: Serve hot with green chutney
